Cancellation Window
Students can cancel their class or session via their online account or by contacting Monique Christine at lotuslifewithmc@gmail.com at least 24 hours before their session without penalties. Cancellations via text, social media, Lotus World direct message, or voicemail will not be permitted.
How 24-Hour Notice Works
If an appointment is scheduled for 3:00 pm on a Tuesday, notice must be given by 3:00 pm on Monday at the latest. Note that if your session is on a Monday, the cancellation needs to be provided by the prior Friday by your appointment time to be considered proper 24-hour notice.
Cancellations & Missed Appointments
The client is expected to attend each scheduled session on time. A canceled or delayed appointment delays our work and can negatively impact other clients. Since your sessions involve the reservation of time specifically for you, out of respect for your practitioner and other clients, a minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for rescheduling or canceling an appointment. I appreciate more than 24-hour notice whenever possible for this reason.
Frequent Cancellations Or Missed Appointments
Frequent cancellations (3 or more in 6 months or two consecutive) and/or missed appointments (no-shows) will result in the termination of treatment/service. If you have arranged with me to have recurring sessions, the next recurring appointment will stay on the calendar. Therefore, please email me if you cancel that appointment to avoid a second No Show/Late Cancel charge in full. After the second consecutive No Show/Late Cancel, the recurring session will be removed.
Although you may receive text or email reminders about upcoming appointments, this is a courtesy and does not happen in every case. It remains your sole responsibility to keep track of and attend all scheduled session appointments on time, whether or not you receive a text or email reminder. It is your responsibility to inform me if your email has changed.
After three consecutive cancellations or no-shows, you will not be able to schedule another appointment for at least six months, if at all, and is left to the sole discretion of Monique Christine.
Fees For No-Shows & Late Cancellations
No-Show Fees: You are considered a no-show if you are at most seven minutes late to your scheduled appointment without advance notice. Anytime you fail to attend a scheduled session without giving appropriate prior notice of cancellation, you will forfeit your session and be charged a $20 no-show fee. Credit will not be provided for the missed appointment. The credit card or other payment information you previously provided (or the pre-paid package you used to book the session) will be used to process this payment. By supplying me with your credit card information or booking an appointment or plan, you consent to this policy. Three no-shows will result in the termination of service or instruction after your pre-paid plan.
Late Cancellation Fees: Any session missed by canceling less than 24 hours in advance will be forfeited, and no credit will be provided. You will be charged a $15 late fee even if the cancellation is work-related and even if you rescheduled the appointment. The credit card information you previously provided (or the pre-paid package you used to book this session) will be used to process this payment. By providing Lotus Life With Monique Christine with your credit card information or booking an appointment, you consent to this policy. Repeated late cancellations (more than two) may result in the termination of service after your plan. Two no-shows will result in the termination of service. Refunds and credits will not be provided for late cancellations or no-shows.
Waitlists: If you are added to the waitlist when booking and a space opens up, you will automatically be added from the waitlist into that class. If your account has enabled email notifications, you will receive an 'added from the waitlist' automatic email notification. You can view which sessions you are registered for by logging in to your online account. If you are added to the waitlist and can no longer attend, you must cancel your booking so the next person in line can be added to the class.
Event/Workshop Cancellations: Workshop bookings must be canceled 48 hours before the start time, in which case you can transfer to a future workshop. Workshop cancellations less than 48 hours before start time are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Should you cancel if you are ill?
The answer is yes. If you are unwell, your top priority should be your health. We can reschedule your appointment when you feel better, so long as you cancel at least 24 hours before the start time.
Refund Policy: All sales are final, and all payments are non-refundable.
